About the event

This is a series of THREE online classes- Mondays, Sept. 12, 19, and 26 from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Study skills and work habits are the backbone of academic success. But most students have not been directly taught these skills and are lacking the ability to use them effectively.

In this series of 1.5-hour, online courses, students learn how to plan, organize, and stay motivated so they have the most successful school year yet!

LEARN HOW TO:

Set an achievable goal

Organize and plan for success

Stay motivated each week

WITH TIPS FOR OVERCOMING:

Disorganization, procrastination, distraction,

and more of your biggest challenges!

Classes include:

• "Sightsee" without creating a detour

• Navigate around unexpected road blocks

• Stay motivated with long term goals

• Use rest as a way to refuel

We will focus on these executive functioning skills: task initiation, flexibility, self-control, and perseverance.

Now that you have chosen your destination, you must make sure you are planned, prepped, and packed for success! You will learn:

• Why planning ahead helps

• What supplies you absolutely must have to make the trip enjoyable

• How to set up your area for success

• Tips and tricks for organizing your stuff and your schedule
